Laying Hens
This summer we got 50 Golden Comet laying hens. Here is our son being introduced to the day old chicks and some newer photos of the hens enjoying a sunny fall day. In another 3 months or so the hens will start laying their first eggs. Yummy!
This is Mike (& Sarah). We just cut open our cooking pumpkin (it lasts a long time!) and I boiled the seeds in salt water then baked them in the stove and they were a great snack. We froze the pumpkin puree for thanksgiving. I'm looking forward to following the blog.
